3D Model Places / Ennecap has donated our first model to MeDem

Ennecap is a 3D modeler of exceptional ability who is creating Minas Tirith in great detail. He has donated one of the buildings to MeDem and we shall see how that can be fitted into the terrain using Outerra. We have to work out now how we we import this, store it and make it available as part of the data.

Welcome !

This forum has been set up to provide a discussion arena for the worlds for the Outerra visualization application. If you need to know more about outerra then visit the main site of www.outerra.com.

Your in the Middle Earth world where a group called the Middle Earth Digital Elevation Model Project is freely distributing the terrain data for Outerra's free demo application - Anteworld. Their aim is to model the terrain of M.E. in great detail and have some of the notable landmarks within the world as 3D models.

The Anteworld visualization demo and compatible M.E. terrain data for it can be downloaded from the main Outerra web site here.

At present we have just released the first version of the terrain data and don't have any 3D models for it. We hope that will change and people can generate some models for it.
